Navigator of the Seas Ship Review

We've sailed on Navigator of the Seas multiple times on cruises to Mexico, and it continues to be one of our favorite Royal Caribbean ships. Its convenient West Coast itineraries, manageable size, and outstanding value make it a ship we find ourselves returning to again and again. Navigator strikes a great balance between exciting onboard activities and a relaxed atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for first-time cruisers, families, couples, and seasoned Royal Caribbean fans alike.

Dining

Navigator of the Seas offers a solid mix of complimentary and specialty dining options. The Main Dining Room consistently delivers excellent service and enjoyable meals, while the Windjammer Marketplace provides a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

For specialty dining, guests can enjoy favorites like Izumi Sushi, Jamie's Italian, Chops Grille, and Hooked Seafood. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or an upscale dinner, there are plenty of options to satisfy every appetite.

Cabins

We've experienced several different stateroom categories onboard, including Interior Promenade, Balcony, Junior Suite, and Grand Suite accommodations.

Every cabin we've stayed in has been comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed with practical storage. The Promenade View Interior rooms offer a unique perspective overlooking the Royal Promenade, while the suites provide additional space and enhanced amenities for those looking to upgrade their cruise experience.

Entertainment

Navigator of the Seas offers a great lineup of traditional Royal Caribbean entertainment. The ship features two excellent production shows, Showgirls and Ballroom Fever, along with live music, comedy, game shows, and themed parties throughout the cruise.

The Studio B ice skating rink hosts impressive ice shows, while the Royal Promenade is always lively with parades, trivia, and entertainment that keeps guests engaged throughout the day and evening.

Pools

The pool deck offers something for everyone. Families can enjoy the main pool area, while adults looking for a quieter atmosphere can relax in the adults-only Solarium. Multiple whirlpools and plenty of lounge seating make it easy to spend a relaxing sea day by the pool.

Navigator also features The Blaster, the longest waterslide at sea, and Riptide, the first headfirst mat racer waterslide at sea, adding even more excitement for thrill seekers.

Spa

The Vitality Spa provides a peaceful escape from the busy ship. Guests can enjoy massages, facials, salon services, and a variety of wellness treatments in a relaxing environment. The professional staff and tranquil atmosphere make it a great place to recharge during your cruise.

Bars

One of our favorite features onboard is Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade. It's the perfect place to catch a game, enjoy appetizers like the famous Campfire Cookie, and relax with a cold drink. Navigator also offers several other excellent bars and lounges, including The Lime & Coconut, Schooner Bar, Boleros, and The Bamboo Room, each offering a unique atmosphere.
