One of the highlights of our sailing aboard Quantum of the Seas was the incredible variety of cruise dining options available throughout the ship. As with many Royal Caribbean ships, there was an excellent mix of complimentary and specialty restaurants, giving us something different to enjoy every day. We especially loved the Main Dining Room and Solarium Bistro, where the food quality, presentation, and service consistently exceeded our expectations.
When it came to specialty dining, Chops Grille stood out for its perfectly cooked steaks and exceptional service, while Jamie's Italian offered flavorful Italian favorites in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We also appreciated the many casual cafés and grab-and-go venues located throughout the ship, making it easy to grab a quick meal between activities—a feature that's especially valuable on family-friendly cruises.

While Quantum of the Seas offers an incredible vacation experience, there are a few things to keep in mind before booking. One feature we missed was Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, which is available on several other Royal Caribbean ships and provides a dedicated spot to enjoy great food while watching live sporting events.
Because Quantum of the Seas is especially popular for family-friendly cruises, signature experiences such as the North Star®, RipCord® by iFLY®, and some entertainment venues can fill up quickly. One of our top tips is to reserve these activities as early as they're available through the Royal Caribbean app to avoid missing out.
During warm-weather sailings, the outdoor pool areas can also become crowded on sea days, so arriving early is the best way to secure your favorite lounge chair. While the ship features many impressive Quantum Class attractions, it doesn't offer as many large-scale thrill attractions as Royal Caribbean's newer Icon and Oasis Class ships.
