🚢 Cruising – Exploring the open seas, discovering new destinations, and soaking in everything from ocean views to onboard fun. We are loyal to Royal Caribbean and our tips are geared towards them.
⛺ Camping – Hitting the road, setting up under the stars, and enjoying the simple joys of life outdoors.
🏡 Cabin – Escaping to our cozy getaway, where mornings are slow and nights are filled with laughter by the fire.

Cruising the West Coast
We love exploring the West Coast by sea! Most of our adventures set sail from the San Pedro Cruise Terminal, but we’ve also cruised out of San Diego, Vancouver, and Seattle. While we’ve enjoyed time in the Caribbean, the West Coast truly feels like home — and these ports have so much to offer.
Whether it’s your first time sailing from one of these ports or you’re coming back for another trip, we’d love to share tips, answer questions, and help you make the most of your cruise experience.
Here are some of our favorites:
- Catalina Island - A self-guided golf cart tour is always a lot of fun.
- San Pedro Brewing - Great food and craft beer.
- Petco Park - Home of the San Diego Padres.
- Gaslamp District - Part of downtown San Diego for great food and shopping.
- Anchor Brewing - In Vancouver and close to the port terminal.
- Victoria B.C. - Peaceful and beautiful to walk.
- Original Starbucks - In downtown Seattle.

When we cruise, we have specific preferences for the types of services we use at or near the cruise port. Like many travelers, we value brand loyalty and enjoy the benefits that come with it.
